![]() Under normal circumstances this would have been an easy double-kill for me, yet in infinite It's as if the controls are doing the opposite of what I input. with classic controls, or ANY of the MCC versions I can do this type of target acquiring and tracking effortlessly. In ANY of the other Halo games, be it on the OG Xbox / Xbox 360 etc. I tried acquiring the other target that was still in view, but essentially the same thing happened. The guy ended up escaping around the corner. The enemy I had targeted then grappled to the top right of the screen, so I tried quickly turn in that direction with my camera, but this time the sensitivity felt literally 2x faster for that split second. I had high ground so I had to diagonally look down to the left to acquire the first target, but even at full input it moved way too slow for me. It makes the controls horribly inconsistent and borderline unplayable for me.įor example, yesterday evening I was about to engage 2 enemies who both had their back turned to me in an open space and what happened next was this perfect storm of the unreliable sense and aim assist not working. I also noticed aim assist is REALLY STRONG in this game, yet also decides to randomly to stop working at time. 10/10 sense is not nearly fast enough for me, yet somehow every 10 - 20 seconds I'll make a turn with my camera that is suddenly way faster than normal at full input. This not only means you cannot have a true linear input curve (which would be ideal for muscle memory), but the way the speed ramp seems to be programmed right now it's as if the ramp-up stays at maximum when you quickly switch directions, but only if you do it fast enough. The game seems to have a speed ramp built into the sensitivity, even if you set aim acceleration and response curve to 0. I've noticed it will also suddenly move WAY faster than it should.
